IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Genevieve
Castro
September 14, 1978 – March 1, 2026
Genevieve Castro was called home to heaven on March 1, 2026 to be with her father, Luis Angel Grado, surrounded by her adoring family.
Genevieve was a devoted mother to her four wonderful children Daniel, Marissa, Victoria, and Anastasia(Anya), as well as a doting Gigi to granddaughters Mariah and Milana. Genevieve met the love of her life, Albert, in 2007. They were married in 2011 and for nearly 15 years Albert and Genevieve built a beautiful life and home for their family to flourish. Genevieve’s love and devotion extended far past her husband and children to her beloved mother (Minnie Grado), siblings, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and numerous friends.
Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona Genevieve was a proud blue devil graduate from Sunnyside High School, and later on went on to receive her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. After receiving her degree Genevieve began her career at Raytheon where her raw talent, natural intellect and strong work ethic made her a force to work with which excelled her in her career to be a Manager, Proposal Analysis.
Aside from her work, Genevieve learned she had a passion for many things including creativity with her painting and baking (which her family enjoyed thoroughly). Genevieve loved bringing our family together throughout the year especially during the holiday season. We will make sure to continue her legacy with the gingerbread house competitions. We loved her sarcasm which she served daily with a dose of dark humor which was classic Genevieve style. Knowing that she shared this with you was to know she truly loved you.
Genevieve will be missed by all that knew her. She touched many lives and left an impression that will be forever in our hearts.
