Gail Lynn Barrios

Gail Lynn Barrios passed away unexpectedly in her home on the afternoon of September 3, 2022 due to an arterial blockage.

Born on May 16, 1957 in Tucson, AZ to Mary Jo and George Muller, she attended Cragin Elementary School, Doolen Junior High School, and graduated from Catalina High School in 1975.

On March 19, 1977 she married the love of her life, Tucson native Arthur Philip Barrios, and was his faithful wife for 45 years until death.  Together they raised two children.

Gail was very artistic and had a deep love for the indigenous cultures of the desert southwest, which is apparent in her artwork.  She and her husband "Arturo" designed and built their custom adobe brick dream home on a pristine piece of desert land adjacent to the Saguaro National Park just west of Tucson where she decorated her home with her artistic creations.  She had a deep love for her pet birds (parakeets, parrots, and cockatiels) from childhood until death.  She also was a devout believer in Christ and had a deep faith in God.

Gail was preceded in death by her sister, Vicki Jean Pursley, and her parents, Mary Jo and George Muller.  She is survived by her husband Art, brother Gary Muller (wife Patricia Knezek), daughter Nataani Holm (husband Shaun, children, Khloe and Kayla), son Andrew Barrios (wife Heather, children Shelby and Trenton), and nephew Travis Pursley (child Colton Cash).

Farewell beloved wife, sister, mother, aunt, great aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  We love you and will always miss you.
