With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gabriel Michael Sertich, 37 years old. Gabriel "Gabe" tragically passed away on July 2nd, 2024 in Tucson, AZ. Gabriel was born January 28th, 1987 in Tucson, AZ to parents David W. Sertich and Sally A. Sertich.

Gabriel is preceded in death by his father, David W. Sertich, grandmother Norma P. Sertich, grandmother Olalia Sandate, and grandfather Gabino Sandate. He is survived by his only son, Noah Sertich, girlfriend Crystal Richard, loving mother Sally A. Sertich, stepmother Catherine Sertich, sisters Rebecca Cervantes, Alessandra (Joey) Cole, nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Enrique, Amaya, Izabella, Anthony, Vincent, and Luna. And many loving Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Gabriel shared the love of NASCAR with his father David, they spent many weekends watching those cars go round and round and waiting to hear John Force interview at the end. In his younger days Gabriel shared the love of BMX with his cousin Dustin. He had his share of "biffs" and even breaking a bike in half! Gabriel enjoyed many different genres of music but would only listen to it at one setting which was blaring it for all to hear! Gabriel also enjoyed detailing cars, he loved making them shine. You know you were loved by Gabe if he grilled for you, that was his specialty, fall off the bone meat. In his final days he was in the kitchen cooking tortillas with his girlfriend Crystal begging his mom Sally to try another batch.

Gabriel experienced a life of hardship which was no secret. We will continue to spread awareness and love people how Gabe loved by showing empathy. Throughout his life Gabe made many friends and acquaintances, he always knew someone when he went out. Gabe loved to have people around him, he loved to joke and laugh and never wanted the party to end. We can still hear your laugh Gabe, you are forever loved, forever missed, we will cherish our memories of you forever. Go with God and continue to leave us signs that you're around us, we love you beyond words Gabe. You can now rest on that mountain and enjoy the Tucson monsoons.
