Frank Valencia Madrid (1927 – 2023) Frank V. Madrid, 95, of Mammoth, AZ passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Casa de los Abuelos, Assisted Living Care Facility surrounded by members of his family.

He was born September 7, 1927, to the late Ramon and Manuela Madrid. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Irene Madrid and brothers Pete Madrid, Ignacio Madrid; and sisters Jessie Vasquez, Carmen Boltarez, and Nellie Cuestas. He is survived by brother George Madrid; sister Lilly Moreno; daughter Anna (Ron) Barney; sons: Frank (Shawna) Madrid; Chris (Vivian) Madrid; and Joe Madrid; grandsons: Daniel, Adam, and Jayce; granddaughters: Alyssa, Sydney, and Shentel followed by seven great grandchildren.

He was a Korean War Veteran, a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church, a resident of Mammoth, AZ for over 65 years. He worked for Magma Copper Company, retiring in 1985 after 32 years. He was a man with a heart of gold, a devoted and supportive husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Services are scheduled at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 122 Church Drive in Mammoth and interment at Mammoth Valley View Cemetery on Thursday, February 9, 2023: Visitation is at 9:00am, Rosary at 10:00am followed by Mass at 10:30am.

For all the mornings you've been up early to work for your family when it would have been nice to sleep in for the times you denied yourself to put our needs first.  The allowances you made for us, your hopes, and dreams for us, and most of all your love and devoted prayers. Thank you! We love you for being the kind of man we are proud to call Dad and for your willingness to make sacrifices & accept responsibility, shunning evil and standing up for the good & right. Now the time has come for Angels to guide you to heaven's door where you will be waiting to meet us again someday. We Love you and Thank you!
