Francisca A. Barcelo (“Picha”) 102 years young, of Tucson AZ, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026 surrounded by her adoring children. She was born in 1924 in Granados, Sonora, Mexico, where she grew up and met her husband Jose A. Barcelo (“Toño”) of 66 years. She is survived by her 6 children: Gloria, Judy, Gustavo, Rosina, Celeste, and Joe; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She lived in Los Angeles for many years until the early 1980s when she moved with her family to Tucson. Francisca was a devout Catholic, an accomplished seamstress, an excellent cook, a dedicated wife, and most importantly, the most amazing mother. She was known for her soft and nurturing nature, extreme kindness, and great love for her family.
