Phil graduated from Tucson High School in 1942 and immediately enlisted in the Army Air Corps where he was training to become a Bombardier Pilot until an injury cut short his dream. He was an amazing and talented artist working with many mediums as pencil, charcoal, oils and acrylics and it was because of this talent, he was hired as the General Manager for Arizona Neon Advertising, where he designed and supervised the fabrication of some amazing large scale signage for businesses, primarily here in Tucson as well as in the Phoenix and Las Vegas areas. He enjoyed his passion for over 30 years until his retirement. Phil loved to play golf and was a member of both the Randolph and El Rio Mens Clubs. His passion truly spilled over and loved to teach the sport to anyone who was interested. We are so grateful to the US Veterans Hospital of So Arizona and Bristol Hospice for providing the best care possible. We love you Dad, you will forever be in our hearts.
Rest in Peace.
