IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Fernando N
Cordova
August 25, 1936 – September 24, 2022
Fernando Navarrete Cordova, beloved husband, father, tata, uncle and friend left us on Saturday September 24, 2022 to join his family members and friends in heaven. He left this world behind due to heart complications after having an aortic valve transplant.
He was born in Tucson, AZ to Raul and Maria Cordova. He graduated from Tucson High class of of 1955. He continued his education at the University of Arizona where he majored in Political Science and was a member of the Universitario Club.
Fernando worked with his brother Arthur at the Tucson Daily Star but lived the majority of his adult life in San Francisco where he owned a remodeling construction company. He never forgot the trade he learned in his childhood years of jewelry making thus opening a Fine Jewelry store and Art Gallery on O'Farrill street as well. He later concentrated in the food commodity business.
Fernando leaves a wife, Georgina; three sons, four daughters, 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and many friends who saw him as a brother.
He was a friend to all and a family man until the end. He will be missed greatly but fortunately leaves a great amount of memories and laughter that will carry us on through life. Rest In Peace and know that you are loved and will be remembered always.
