IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eugene A.
Davila
July 1, 1962 – February 5, 2026
Eugene "Gino" Davila, age 63, passed away on February 5, 2026, in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona, where he was born, raised, and deeply rooted his entire life.
Gino is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Davila; his brothers, Gib and Frank; and his sister, Barbara. He is survived by his loving father, Gilbert, and his sister, Elaine. He leaves behind two nieces, five nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved, cherished, and adored. Along with long time friend Eileen and daughter Venessa.
Gino was a man who embraced life with heart, humor, and a bit of risk. He treasured family dinners and get-togethers, where he was happiest surrounded by the people he loved most. He enjoyed the excitement of the dog track, and in recent years, he loved placing parlays—yes, Gino was a gambler at heart, even when it came to life itself. He was also a big Dallas Cowboys fan, cheering them on through every season with loyalty and passion. He worked hard throughout his life, taking pride in his roles at Tucson Prime Meats, Whole Foods, and Canyon Ranch. He was known for his honesty, humor, stubbornness, and generous spirit. Gino faced years of health struggles and spent many long hours in dialysis before deciding he had endured enough.
His strength, resilience, and unmistakable presence will be forever remembered. Gino was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
