It is with great sadness that we share the news of our beloved Brother and Son's, Ernest "Rene" Lizardi, passing on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

Rene's passing was preceded by the loss of his sister – Yvonne (2007) and father – Ernie (2022). Rene was survived by his mother – Irma, his brothers and sisters - Annette, Tommy, Greg, Lisa (Kurt), his nieces and nephew - Lindsey, Lauren, Adam, Kylie, Kelsey, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Our Brother/Son had his own unique style and had a great love for 70s music. Rene also had a big heart and would share his love with a text message of "LVU MUCH!!" every Sunday morning to those that were dear to him.

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 10:00 am we will be having a joint service at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 300 N Tanque Verde Loop Rd, Tucson, AZ 85748 to honor of Rene and our mother - Irma. Immediately following the service, we will be gathering in the church's reception hall for a time of remembrance with a light lunch, soft drinks, and desserts.

If you wish to send flowers, the church requests that they be delivered no later than the day prior. In lieu of flowers you may consider a donation to the church in the memory of Rene and Irma.
