IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Erick Guadalupe
Lopez
June 17, 1973 – July 13, 2025
With profound sorrow, we share the passing our beloved husband, life partner, friend, and confidant, Erick López. Erick left this world on July 13, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving behind an immense void but also a legacy of love that will remain with us forever.
Erick was born on June 17, 1973, in Mexicali, Baja California, a place he always carried proudly in his heart, because being cachanilla was part of his very essence. Erick was, above all, a loving and devoted son, a present and caring brother, a protective and dedicated father, a wonderful uncle, and an authentic and loyal friend.
Erick was so much more than that: he was a refuge, a protector, the man who tenderly called his wife "Anita," the one who cared for his mother Dolores, his siblings, and who looked upon his nephews with so much love. He adored, loved and missed his daughters Azul, Génesis, and Cielo to the very last moment of his life. He also loved Carol and Benjy, as his own, with tireless devotion.
Erick was not of this world… he seemed to come from a place where loyalty, music, love, and tenderness are the rule. Erick, your memory will live on forever, in your children, in your brothers, your nephews and in all of us who were blessed to know you.
