Elvira Bravo Lucero was born to Alejandro and Elisa Bravo on March 24, 1931. She passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026 at 95 years old. She graduated from Tucson High School in 1949.

She married Rudy M Lucero on February 7 1953. She was an extremely faithful servant of God. God gave her strength every day, especially during the last years of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alejandro and Elisa, Bravo, her husband of 56 years Rudy Lucero, her youngest sister MaryAnn Bravo, and her middle sister Evangeline Lopez. She is survived by her two children Rick Lucero (Carla), Estella Lucero Granillo (Mark). She had five grandchildren Nina Lucero (Jamie), Luisa Lucero (Eric), Marisa Lucero, Alejandro Wesaw (Linda), and Monica Wesaw. She also leaves behind eight great grandchildren, Taylor, Gabriela, Sophia, Olivia, Sebastian, Hendrix, Natalia, and Anthony. She loved her family deeply, and we loved her just as deep and will miss her tremendously.

She retired from TUSD in food services. She started working there when her children started school so she can be home during the summer when her kids were home. She retired as the manager of the cafeteria at Rincon High School in 1991. She loved her job and enjoyed interacting with the students and staff.
