Elva Flores Davis, our beloved Mother, departed this world to be with Jesus on September 24, 2022 at the age of 89.  She was native, and member of a pioneer family who built many of the historical buildings in and around Tucson.

She was loved by those who knew her for being a multi-talented, strong, and an independent woman.  She loved to sew, garden, crafting, animals (mostly her cats), baking, and cooking for family occasions, just to name a few things.  Many good times were had by bringing family and friends together to make tamales and her passing down the family traditions.

We were so blessed to have her as our mother, and now more blessed to have her as our angel.  May she enjoy life without end in the kingdom of Jesus.

She leaves behind her children, James (Paula), Thomas (Gail), Timothy, Donald, and Caroline.  She also leaves behind her brother Ray Flores (Carlotta); sisters, Geraldine Flores Bartlett, Violet Lucero Flores; 8 Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Husband, James Palmer Davis; Father, Roberto Flores; Mother, Maria Yslas Flores; Brother, Robert Flores; Sister In Law, Virginia Leon Flores; Brother In Law, Charles Bartlett; Brother, Richard Flores; Daughter In Law, Nancy Hill Davis; Daughter In Law, Patricia Goedecke Davis.
