IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edward P.
Leon
May 4, 1970 – September 16, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Leon, who left us peacefully on Tuesday September 16th. Edward, lovingly known as Eddie was born May 4, 1970, in Tucson, Arizona.
Eddie was preceded in death by his beautiful grandparents Lupe and Pete Leon as well as his beautiful aunt Irene Macias.
Eddie was a great father, always there to offer guidance, support and most importantly love. He cherished family gatherings, and his presence at holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy to those around him. He LOVED the ocean, so he would go to Puerto Peñasco anytime he had a chance.
That was his happy place. Eddie was an incredible man. Optimistic. No matter what life threw at him or his family, he never doubted our endurance to reach the people we were meant to be. He made us who we are. He was very passionate about his beliefs and his family and incredibly strong-willed. He loved deeply and fully. Eddie was for sure a warrior. He was strong and noble, full of generosity and courage. For this he will always be remembered, and his legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched.
He is survived by his parents Martha and Pete Leon, his siblings Frankie Leon, Jesus Vega, Lupececlia Leon, and Frances Vega, his children Edward Pete Leon Jr., Erica Leon and Analisa Leon, his grandchildren Isabella Leon, Dominic Leon and Lazarus Reyes, and his beloved godson Juan Carlos Romero, as well as many more brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.
" You never said 'I'm Leaving'
You never said 'Goodbye'
You were gone before I knew it,
And only GOD knew why.
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I Love you still,
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one could ever Fill."
