It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our father Eddie O. Araiza on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the age of 87. Preceded in death by his wife, Norma Lilia Araiza.
He is survived by his children Michael Araiza Sr. (Patricia), Luis Araiza (Elaine), Sandra Espinoza, his grandchildren, Michael Araiza Jr. (Emily), Andrea Lopez (Johnny), Marielena Alderete (Anthony), Marisela Araiza, Robert "Tito" Espinoza (Sara), Emilio "Mitch" Espinoza and his great grand child, Alina Alderete.
Eddie is also survived by his three sisters Olga Ornelas, Enedina "Gueros" Lara, Guillermina "Willie"Madrid, many nephews and nieces, his extended grandchildren Angelica, Alicia, Brianna, David and many great grandchildren.
He was born in Sasabe, Sonora and raised in Casa Grande, AZ.
Our father was a proud US Army and National Guard veteran, and he also coached at Western Little League for many years where he became a successful all star coach. Our father touched many lives with his sense of humor and caring demeanor.
He worked hard for his family and continued to work hard at his home until his passing.

Tuesday, June 6th from 5pm-9pm:
Wake/ Rosary at Carrillo's Mortuary 204 S. Stone Ave.
Wednesday, June 7th at 1000am:
Mass at St. Augustine Cathedral 192 S. Stone Ave.
Funeral after Mass at Holy Hope Cemetery 3555 N. Oracle Rd.
