Eda Marisol Gonzalez Hofer, 48, passed away on August 12, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on February 13, 1977, in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, Eda brought light and joy to every space she entered throughout her life.

Eda earned a business degree as well as a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, a reflection of her dedication to education and personal growth. Her academic journey was marked by determination and a deep commitment to learning—qualities that shaped her path and inspired those around her.

Her Christian faith was a guiding force in her life. She lived with optimism and selflessness, embracing each day with gratitude and enthusiasm. Known for her boundless energy and vibrant spirit, Eda was often described as the life of the party—because she was the party. Whether singing along to her favorite songs, dancing freely, or cruising through town with music playing and windows down, she found joy in every moment.

Eda cherished time spent with family and friends. She is lovingly remembered by her mother Maria Lourdes Jimenez and father Martin Inda Jimenez; her three daughters Alejandra Hofer, Ariana Hofer, and Andrea Hofer; and her grandchildren Arian Francisco Gonzalez and Aribel Valentina Gonzalez. She also leaves behind her brother Jose Aguila and his daughters—her beloved nieces Aida, Anaysa, Audrina, and Adelina Aguila; her sister Susie Todorovich, as well as her other two brothers Erick Jimenez, Martin Jimenez jr. & many other family & friends.

To those who knew her, Eda was more than a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, or friend—she was a radiant presence whose love knew no bounds. Her laughter filled rooms; her kindness lifted spirits; her strength inspired many.
