Dionisia Rojas Leon, 98 passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jesus Munos Leon; grandson Michael Anthony Leon; her parents, Matias and Concepcion Rojas; six brothers - Gregorio, Juan, Matias, Jose, Gilberto, Jesus and sister Rita.

She is survived by her sons, Alberto (Annie) Leon and Alex (Martha) Leon; daughters, Anna Marie (Raymond) Leon Maldonado, Alisa (Mark) Silva, and Esther (Ernest) Federico; Sisters Concha Gallegos, Rosario Rojas and Juanita Rojas; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Dionisa was a mom, worked in restaurants in Tucson and also provided her expertise in opening restaurants in Tucson. She loved making porcelain dolls, cared for her many birds and plants. She loved to have Mexican music playing throughout the house. Her favorite pastime was playing slots at the casino.

She was a wonderful mother and Nana. Her memory will always be in their thoughts and prayers.
