Diana V Egurrola's Obituary

Diana Villalobos Egurrola

February 21, 1951 -October 20, 2021

Diana Villalobos Egurrola lost the most courageous battle of her life on October 20, 2021. God had other plans for her, and she is now resting in God's hands. Diana's  wings were ready, but many of our hearts were not. Diana was born on February 21, 1951 in Tucson, Arizona. Diana attended Tucson High, and graduated in 1969. She started working for the City of Tucson Water Department at the age of 18 and retired from the city as a Tucson Police Department Criminal Analyst at M.A.N.T.I.S. She served the City of Tucson for 40+ years.

Diana loved the Lord with all her heart and she loved praying the rosary to our Blessed Mother. Throughout her life she held an unwavering faith in God. Diana loved doing her pilgrimage to Santuario De Chimyo in New Mexico. She always felt at peace at the church and sitting by the running creek.

If you were blessed to have been part of Diana's path in life, you would know that she was a kind charismatic soul. Whenever you needed her she would be there for you. Diana loved her family the most. She loved spending time with her great-nieces and nephew. She loved being around kids and you would see the glow in her. She was and always will be our "Nene".

Diana is survived by her husband Humberto Egurrola and step-grandson William Eugrrola. Her siblings John Villalobos, Annie Gonzalez (Alma). Nephews and Niece Ruben Moreno, Gerald Villalobos ( Nadine), Gabriel Villalobos (Melissa) Leo Morales (Stephanie), Jaime Morales, Stella Morales, Richard Gradillas (Tiffanie), Benjamin Gradillas ( Samantha) Great-Nieces and Nephews Anthony Rios, Mia Gradillas, Riley Gradillas, Anthony Morales, Sarah Morales and Daniel Morales and Ahulani Villalobos Uncle Tony Aguilar, and many cousins and friends.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents Jerry Villalobos and Pauline Aguilar Villalobos, brother Gerald Villalobos, and Nephew Anthony Villalobos.

Diana, we love you. You were gone too soon, but you will always live in our hearts.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." – Jeremiah 29:11
