D'Herrera Tapia passed away peacefully on August 17, 2022. He was a senior engineer for the city of Tucson. He was preceded in death by his mother Adelina H. Tapia. He is survived by his two brothers Louie Tapia (Lydia) and Armando Tapia. D'Herrera is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.

My brother D, I will miss you so much of the bond we had, your big heart and generous ways towards everyone. You were my rock, my friend, my hero, my big brother. Until we meet again. Love you forever, Brother Louie.
