Deann M. Canales, age 46, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17th, 2019. Deann was born July 30th, 1973 to parents, Steve and Mary (Rico) Moraga. She recently retired from the Tucson Unified School District after devoting most of her life to the growth and education of special needs children. Deann truly lived her life to the fullest by traveling with her family, spending most of her time with her grandson and going to the casino with her husband. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Stephen Canales, Sr; her daughter, Leandra; sons, Stephen Jr (Aryana) and Adrian; her grandson, Stevie; sisters, Andrea (Shannon) and Larissa; her niec,e LeiLany and nephew, Joshua as well as countless aunts, uncles, godchildren, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Deann on Thursday, August 29th, 2019 from 9:00am to 12:00pm with a rosary recited at 10:30am at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary - South Chapel, 204 South Stone, Tucson Arizona 85701.
