IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daniel Bravo
Nunez
November 15, 1967 – July 10, 2022
Daniel Bravo Nuñez, 54, passed to the Lord on July 10, 2022 from the hands of his loving family. Danny Boy was valiant and courageous in his three and a half year battle with cancer, remaining #NU Ñ EZSTRONG throughout the difficult journey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Cecilia; and their three children, Daniel (14), Alejandro (13), Maria (9), and dog, Max; Brothers, Alfredo Nuñez Jr., Damian (Mary) Nuñez, Ramon (Robbin) Nuñez, Jesus "Quate" Nuñez; Sisters, Lorraine Nuñez, Sonya (Deacon Mike) Gutierrez, Christina Barrios; In-Laws, Maria Cuprill-Owens (Congressman Major Owens), Carlos Cuprill (Susan), Carlos Cuprill (Daniella), and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Blasita Nuñez and sister Gina Burrell.
Danny was born in Tucson AZ, in 1967, the youngest of nine children, our Tesoro. He was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Cecilia and was a proud father to their three children. Danny spent his career as a Master Electrician overseeing large scale projects across the United States and worked most recently as a Superintendent with Power Design Inc. The job he loved most was being a father and spending time with his family. He could be found at the hockey rink whistling, and cheering on his boys, with his baby girl by his side.
Danny served his country with pride in the US Air Force. Growing up in Menlo Park he made lifelong friends with whom he shared many adventures. He was willing to help any one in need. He was kind, caring and generous. Although he was a man of few words, his presence was always felt.
During his last months, he traveled to visit as many friends and extended family as possible to thank them for being an important part of his life. Danny, his wife and children returned to Tucson to be surrounded by the love, laughter and traditions of all his family and friends.
Danny's kids would also like everyone to know that they admired their dad for being hardworking, a great mathematician, able to fix anything, always willing and able to help them, honorable and fearless. Their dad always picked the best movies, made the most delicious salsa and always had time for them. He was ever present. We love you and will miss you Daddy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Go Fund Me to help with medical expenses.
