Daniel de la Ossa passed away on May 19, 2024. He is survived by his son, Daniel Jesús, and his parents, Alfonso and Aida de la Ossa. He is also survived by his brothers, Marco Antonio (Annette) and Erik de la Ossa and his sisters Denise López (Alejandro) and Edna Mendoza (Francisco), as well as several nieces and nephews, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniel is preceded in death by his brother Jesús Alfonso and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Although unmarried, Daniel's family also included Daniel Jesús's sisters, Lizette, Danitza, Tessa, and his mother, Malu, as well as their spouses and children. He remained close to those he shared his life with over the years, including their children.

Daniel was born in Nogales, Arizona on July 26, 1966. He graduated from Nogales High School in 1984. He was a gifted mechanic and enjoyed fixing up older model cars and trucks. Daniel resided in Tucson for the past 15 years. He had a dedicated work ethic and was meticulous in any type of work he did. Daniel was proud of mentoring new employees as part of his job at Energy Transport Logistics.

One of Daniel's favorite pastimes was teasing loved ones and joking around with them. We are comforted in knowing that wherever he is resting now, he takes joy in having pulled the ultimate joke on us and suddenly leaving us way too soon. We love you Daniel - until we meet again!
