Chelo Alvarez, 91 of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully in the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ her Savior on June 9th, 2025. She was always surrounded by her loved ones.

Preceded in death by her parents Ramon and Rosa Majuta, husband Nicolas, daughter Martha Munoz and baby Martin Alvarez. Survived by her children Richard (Jessica),Alvarez, Rebecca (Scott) Braun, Anna Scandaliato and Esther (Joe) Vidal, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and last surviving sister Anita Carrillo.

Chelo was one of 12 children, 8 sisters, 3 brothers.  She had a great work ethic. She was very witty, with a great sense of humor and was well known for her one of a kind Gesture. No could resist her famous Biscochelo's.

She worked in the restaurant industry for many years. She loved working in her yard and loved her flowers. She was a wonderful cook, loved music and dancing.  She loved her family, friends, nieces, nephews, especially her grandchildren. She loved her dogs, Lulu & Ellie. Her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is what kept her strengthened in her life.  As her family we are very blessed and thankful to all who have loved, prayed and supported us during this time. We were honored to care for our mom in her last days.

Our Mother will surely be missed.
