It is with great sadness to announce the loss of our beloved Mother, Nana, Tia, Sister, and Friend. Celia Suarez was born in Tucson, AZ, on October 8, 1936 and passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad "Trini" Mendoza and Juan Mendoza; son, Gilbert Suarez; siblings, Francisco (Rachel), Arturo (Helen - surviving), Connie (Bob), Hortencia (Edward - surviving).

She is survived by her children, Lewis, Rudy, and Jaime (Monica), as well as her grandchildren, Christina, Gilbert "David", Gavin, Carlos, Angelica, Carolina, Martin, Santiago, Arianna, and Jacob; she is also survived by great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; her siblings, Oscar "Tito" (Dora), and Juan "Johnny" (Alice).

Celia lit up a room when she danced,  and she will be missed dearly.
