Cecilia Gallardo Noriega "Chila" 59 of Tucson. Was granted her Eternal Rest on June 13, 2022. She was born on November 23, 1962 to Angelita and Fernando Noriega. She was a woman of many talents from her ability to make delicious food to her creativity and love for arts and crafts. She always out did herself with her beautiful crafts. She was always keeping busy with something. She was always one to take care of the people she loved, always making sure you had eaten. I believe that she had a booth during cuaresma just to feed the people in her life. Chila has always loved doing things for her community. She helped start the first youth group at Santa Rosa de Lima in Old Pascua. They were called The Santa Rosa Youth Group. It really did help keep kids out of trouble. As a child Chila went to Richey Elementary, John Spring Jr High and graduated from Tucson High in 1982. She eventually went back to Richey where she was a teacher's aide for many years. The teachers there became a part of her family. Even after the school closed down she kept in contact with them all. Chila will definitely be missed by many.

Chila is preceded in death by her parents, Angelita and Fernando Noriega; Grandparents, Dolores and Pedro Gallardo, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

She is survived by her Loving dog, Chicita, who misses her dearly. Her sisters, Antonia Perez, Mercedes (Eddie) Ruiz, Patricia (Anthony) Romero, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, Godchildren, Comadres and Compadres. She was one of a kind and is going to be missed very much by not just a few but by many.

Services will be Friday June 24, 2022. At Capilla Señor de los Milagros (3410 S 16th Ave). She will be arriving at 4pm. Rosary will be held at 7:30pm and recited by Santa Cecilia Group from San Xavier Mission. Followed by an all night vigil. Saturday, June 25, 2022 Mass will be at 7am with burial to follow at Monte Calvario Cemetery (5149 W Omokol - New Pascua).
