Cecilia G Cruz, 71 went to be with our heavenly Father on December 22nd, 2023. Born to Fermin and Dolores Garcia on November 22, 1952 in Tucson, Az. She was the youngest of 8 children.

Cecilia had professed her life to Christ at an early age. You would find her in prayer multiple times per day. She loved to study the Word of God, praying for and with others, spending time with her family, laughing and wearing a smile on her face. She enjoyed nights playing card games(Dompe) and loteria with her family. Watching basketball and football games with her boys. The occasional day trips to the bingo hall, and overnight stays with her sisters, holding and rocking newborns and infants alike until they were asleep. She possessed an unconditional love for her 5 children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, many of whom spent joyous amounts of time with her during infancy and childhood. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. "To know her was to love her."

She will be remembered for being kindhearted, sweet, spirited and forgiving, and for her shy smile and that genuine, joyful laugh she possessed.

She is survived by her husband ServandoCruz; Sons Martin (Debbie) Cruz, Refugio/ Cuco (Diana) Cruz, and Victor Cruz.

Daughters Yesenia Cruz and Maribel (Efraim) Gonzalez.

Sisters, Maria Salvador, Cruzita Cowing and Anita Woolsey.

Brothers Fermin and Henry Garcia;

20 grandchildren; 12-great-grand children and many nieces, nephews and friends who adored her dearly.

She is preceded by death by her beloved parents Fermin and Dolores Garcia; sister Marylou Caballero and brother Joe Garcia.

Not only was she the foundation that held our family together but she was the kindest and most supportive woman any of us could have been blessed to have.

Like her mother, she had an unwavering faith in God. Because of that, this is not a goodbye, for she will continue to guide us and live in our hearts forever.
