Cecilia Vivian Amparano, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from Tucson High, and her career as a beautician spanned over 40 years, a testament to her dedication. She also excelled in sports, earning a silver medal at the senior Olympics in Volleyball.

She is preceded in death by her mother, MaryAnn S Ruiz, father William O. Ruiz, brothers Bill Ruiz, Bob Ruiz,

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Majuta Amparano; sons, Adam Paul Amparano (Janelle) and Thomas Brian Amparano (Veronica); grandchildren, Sofia Amparano and Ivan Amparano; and sister, MaryAnn (Dee Dee) Ruiz. Her family was her world, and she poured her heart and soul into every moment she spent with them.

Cecilia had an infectious smile, a silly laugh, a fantastic sense of humor, and boundless energy. She left a lasting impression on those that she loved and those she called friends. Her ability to recall a song and its lyrics from any phrase you could mention was genuinely remarkable. But above all, her family was her world, and she showed her love for them in everything she did.
