Carmen Martinez Mandros, 85, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Fairmount Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Carmen, a native Tucsonan, born in 1930 to parents Gonzalo Martinez and Carmen Corella, was raised by her great aunt Ramona and husband Ben Goldsmith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frank Mandros.

Carmen is survived by her children, Francine Mandros Bourland, Georgeanna Couston (George), Andew Mandros (Julia);

her grandchildren, George M. Couston, James M. Bourland (Tiffany), Carmela Broderick (Logan), Olivia and Steven Mandros;

and her half- brother Joe Martinez.

Carmen spent her life at her historic home on South Scott Avenue. She worked for the U.S. Marshall's Office, along with managing her properties. Nana enjoyed cooking, dancing, soap operas and socializing with family and good friends.
