Carmela is survived by Michael Saladino (Son), Debbie Saladino (Daughter-in-law), Maria Saladino Halfin (Daughter) and Larry Halfin (Son-in Law); four grandchildren, Michael (Melissa) Saladino, Gregory (Carol) Halfin, Jonathan, Nicole (Alexander) Harris and five great grandchildren, Sydney, Lydia, Alexander, Celia and Genevieve.

Carmela met her husband, Charlie, at a wedding after he returned from his service in World War II. They married in 1948 and raised their family in New York.

Carmela moved from New York to Arizona in 1984 when her husband Charlie retired. Unfortunately, Charlie's life was cut short in 1986 and Carmela and her mom stayed in Arizona.

Carmela was full of life and one of the most kind and caring persons who walked this earth. She loved to cook and her housekeeping skills were impeccable. Above all, she loved her family deeply and it showed, based upon all the loving memories we have of her. She will be missed but never forgotten. Her memories are engraved in our hearts and will be carried on from generation to generation. Rest in Peace our sweet mother.
