IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bryan
Case
March 4, 1947 – October 17, 2022
Mr. E. Bryan Case, known as Bryan to everyone, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 17, 2022. He was 75 years old.
Born March 4, 1947 in Brockport, NY, Bryan was one of seven children born to E. Duane and Pauline Case. His brothers David, Paul, Peter, John and Frank and sister Sue grew up in the small town of Holley, N.Y.
After graduating high school, Bryan enlisted in the navy and married his first wife, Karen Baker, also from Holley, NY. With Karen, he had two children, Natalie and David.
After seeing the world from the deck of a ship, Bryan and his family moved back to New York to start the post-military life. He went to work for Eastman Kodak as an engineer, keeping the buildings and equipment running (and not blowing up).
Bryan and Karen separated and divorced, and he then met and married the love of his life, Julie. More than forty years later, they were still very much in love when he breathed his last. He still referred to Julie as his bride and his best friend.
Bryan stayed with Kodak until his retirement and then he and Julie moved to Tucson, AZ for the warmer weather. He was an avid golfer and loved volunteering for golf tours and the like. Bryan also loved to travel and got to see a good deal of the world and the US.
Bryan leaves behind a slew of Dad jokes, his sense of sarcasm and a family who will miss him forever. He is survived by his wife Julie, his children Natalie and David, grandchildren Karaleen and Vae, sister Sue and brothers Paul, Peter, John and Frank. Both of his parents and his brother David preceded him in death.
The family has made a whole body donation to the Southwest Institute for Bio-Advancement to help ongoing education of various medical professionals and furthering the scientific understanding of the human body.
We encourage donations to the Amercian Lung Association in Bryan's name ( https://action.lung.org/ ) in lieu of flowers or other gifts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary, at 204 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701 on November 5, 2022, from noon to three pm. Light snacks and coffee/tea will be offered. There will be time for you to share a short memory with those in attendance.
