Beverly Sue LaVetter, 84, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1941, raised and always lived in Tucson, Arizona. Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland LaVetter; her mother, Marguerite Smith; and her cherished daughter, Tobie Lynn LaVetter. As a longtime coach's wife, Beverly lived a life rooted in dedication, resilience, and unwavering support for her family and community. She will be remembered for her quiet strength and enduring love with which she faced life's joys and sorrows. Her memory and legacy live on in the family she cherished and the many lives she touched. Bev was a mother to so many of Roland's players and Lance's friends. She is survived by her son, Lance LaVetter; her daughter-in-law, Michelle; and her adored granddaughter, Delaney, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Reva (Neal) Manning and Diane LaVetter; her dear and longtime best friend, Susanne Stanford; and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
