August 7th 1978 - January 22nd 2023

Benjamin Alvarez 44, passed away peacefully in his sleep on early Sunday morning January 22nd 2023. He had been struggling with several health issues for quite some time.

He lived with his sister Rosemary Galvez and her children for most of his adult life.

Benjamin is survived by sister and nephews and nieces. Yasmín Mayen, Leo López, Karina López, Esmeralda López, Abel López, Valentina Guzmán, Eli Guzmán and great nephew Mark Rodriguez.

"Laker Bennie" was everyone's friend. He was kind, loving and always ready to lend a helping hand. Bennie loved to laugh and crack jokes, loved making everyone laugh and liked to see everyone with a smile on their face. He was a very kind and gentle soul.

We will always have very fond fun memories with Benjamin.

He suffered a long time in pain and is at rest and peace now with grandmother: Lupe Lopez, mother: Sylvia Galvez, brother: Andy Alvarez, and uncle: Jay Lopez.

Bennie will definitely be remembered and loved always by all of us. Those who knew him have good fun and funny stories to tell about the times spent with him. May he rest in peace … Dear brother, uncle, and good friend.
