Beatriz was born in Leon, Guanajuato Mexico and came to Tucson, Arizona in 1956 at the age of 9 years old. She attended St. Augustine Cathedral and Pueblo High School for her early education. She worked at Burr-Brown Research Corp. for over twenty-five years starting as an assembly line worker and moved up to the Quality Assurance Department for Military Products. Upon leaving Burr-Brown she attended Pima Community College and received an Associates degree. She worked for various other companies including The Fountains/Watermark Retirement Communities for over fifteen years as an Administrative Assistant. As an avid U of A Basketball fan she enjoyed watching the basketball team play as much as possible. She enjoyed travelling and vacationing with her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than twenty two years, Jefferson Lane, her parents Pablo and Maria Natividad L. Gonzalez and her brothers and sisters Jesus, Raquel, Gabriel, Eloisa and Rafael.
She is survived by her remaining brothers and sisters Miguel (Sanjuana), Luz Maria, Margarita G. Weber and Martin Gonzalez as well as her many nephews and nieces Jesus, Juliet, Patricia, Dolores, Christopher, Andrew, Nicky, Christina, Eloisa McKintosh, Beatrice as well as her god-daughters and god-sons.
She will always be remembered by the many friends and acquaintances she developed in her 76 years of life throughout her life's journey through school years and later in her professional career.

Luz que illumine la materia embrutecida
Esa luz que distingue a los cristianos
Que termine esa Guerra fratercida,
Que reine la Paz,que nos dejaste como Hermanos.
