Beatrice Gutierrez Carbajal, left this earth to meet her Creator in Heaven on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

Mom was born Beatrice Ruiz Navarro to Beatriz R and Apolonio A Navarro on September 15, 1931 in Douglas, Arizona.

She is preceded in death by her son Larry Gutierrez,  parents Beatrice and Apolonio Navarro and siblings Lucille Ochoa, Samuel Navarro, Norma Rodriguez, Elvia Rodriguez , deceased husband and father of her children Manuel L Gutierrez and deceased husband Pete Carbajal. Also by many other loved ones.

She is survived by her children: Manny (Arta) Gutierrez, Eleanor (Paul) Espinoza and Anthony (Genene) Gutierrez.

Grandma to 11 Grandchildren: Gabriel (Dina) Gutierrez, Dianne (Nick) Perez, Cassandra Gutierrez, Danielle Diaz (Ron Lopez), Anique Herbst, Katrina Arvizu, Charlene (Daniel Vargas) Castrejon, Ashley and Anthony (Kendra) Gutierrez, Denise (Leo) Keppinger and Paul (Kerryanne) Espinoza.  Also surviving her is Michael W Diaz III, Rick Herbst and Tommy Castrejon II.

Nana Bea to 22 Great Grandchildren: Rick (Mollye), Jonathan and Alyssa Herbst, Michael W. IV and Marissa Diaz, Charlize, Natalie Bekah and Tommy Castrejon III, Nick Perez, Isaiah, Savannah and Mekah Daniels, Ava, Sophia and Elijah Gutierrez, Brandon, Ellie, Matthew and Lorielai Keppinger, Amelia and Penelope Espinoza and Daniel Jesse Vargas whom she loved too.

She is survived by her siblings John Navarro (Beef) and Rebecca Velasco. Also surviving her are brother in law Fernando Rodriguez Sr., many nieces, nephews, cousins. Her companion and friend Richard Sosa and his family, Angie, Richard, David, Dominick, Manny and Christina and many other very close n dear friends and longtime coworkers.

Mom (Minnie) (Bea) worked at St. Mary's Hospital starting as a cashier in the kitchen then onto being a switchboard operator which during this time while working pursued her nursing career graduating as an LPN from Kress School of Nursing on May 22, 1964. She continued a very long career which she always spoke of with enjoyment. Never regretting nursing but truly hated having to retire. She always wished she could keep going on especially during this pandemic of COVID to help others. Mom was a very generous, loving person. Always thinking of how she could help someone. We love you Mom!!!

Momma, you are greatly missed and will ALWAYS be loved and remain in our hearts!!!! Until we meet again… Praise God with our brother Larry and all our loved ones gone ahead!
