IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arthur D
Martinez
February 19, 1941 – May 9, 2024
Arthur D. Martinez Jr., affectionately known as "Tudy," peacefully entered into rest surrounded by family members on May 9, 2024. His legacy will forever echo through the lives he touched.
Tudy served his country honorably as a U.S. Navy veteran. His commitment extended beyond military service; for 35 years, he faithfully served the community through the U.S. Post Office. His work ethic and kindness left an indelible mark.
His greatest joy was his family. He leaves behind his wife, Maria (Mary Lou), his son, Arthur Martinez (wife Lisa), and his cherished twin grandchildren, Arthur and Antonia, along with many nieces and nephews.
Tudy's siblings were his lifelong companions. He is survived by his sister, Cecilia Estrada (husband Ray), and his brother, David Valenzuela (wife Evelia). Their shared memories will forever connect them. Our heartfelt gratitude to David, who played an essential role in caring for Tudy during his final days.
In heaven, Tudy reunites with his mother, Anita Valenzuela, and his sisters, Mercy Valencia, and Virginia Valenzuela. Their spirits intertwine, a testament to the enduring bonds of family.
He was an avid golfer, finding solace on the greens. He was one of the founders of the spirited Tucson Ball Busters which still brings joy to fellow enthusiasts.
Please join us to honor the memory of Tudy on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Most Holy Trinity Parish, 1300 N Greasewood Road. Tucson, AZ 85745. The day will commence with a visitation at 9:00 AM, continue with a rosary at 10:00 AM, and conclude with a Mass at 10:30 AM
