In Loving Memory, Arnold Ormsby. May 3, 1954 – February 8, 2025

Arnold Ormsby, 70, passed away quietly in the early morning hours of February 8, 2025, with his sister by his side. He was born on May 3, 1954, to Frank Amador Ormsby Jr. and Margarita Alicia Martinez Corrales in Tucson, Arizona.

He knew that was loved and cared for deeply.

Arnold lived a humble and reserved life working with his hands as mechanic, and fixer of all things. He could often be found outdoors tinkering with a car, befriending and caring for a neighbor cat (or two), helping his mom in her garden or listening to rock 'n roll while smoking a cigarette on the hot and cool days, always taking a moment to observe, embrace and capture a sunrise/sunset by photo over the Tucson sky.

Arnold was a devoted son and a father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and grandfather.

He is survived by 2 children: Janice Marie and Serena (Amanda); 6 Grandchildren: Dominic, Jenna, Emma, Brienne, and Aubrey; 3 siblings: Roberta, Kathryn, Frank (Rosario). He is preceded in death by his preemie-baby grand-daughter Angel and his parents.

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, a remembrance of Arnold's life begins at 12:00PM at 9 S Azurite, Tucson, AZ 85745. Followed by a toast and candlelight vigil at the familial property near Ormsby Park, behind his residence beginning around 4:30PM at 825 W 24th, Tucson, AZ 85745. All who knew him are welcome to attend, hug and share memories with each other.
