Obituary

He is survived by his wife Mary Helen and son John Anthony, his sisters, Alice Allen and Julia Voss, and many nieces and nephews.

He was educated in Tucson Schools and served in the Korean War. Afterwards, Tony continued his education at the U of A, earning a Bachelor and Masters degree. He went on to teach social studies for thirteen years and became a principal for two different high school, totaling a thirty four year career in education.

His life interests were camping, traveling, photography and numismatics. He always had a "do-it-yourself" attitude and strong work ethic. He also shared many laughs with his remarkable sense of humor.

Tony was one of the last remaining early residents of El Presidio neighborhood and lived in the home that he was raised in.

One of his last goodbyes was the poem quote: "Don't grieve for me for now I am free. I'm following the path god laid for me."
