Obituary

Antonio Cisneros passed away in his home on Saturday, July 14th, 2018, surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maria Jesus, his 3 children Tony (Bertha), Susie Thrall (Scott Andrew) and Francisco "Pancho"; his 6 grandchildren; Tanika Pain (Rick), Scott Anthony, Sara, Sam, and Anthony and 2 great-grandchildren Ricky and Christopher. He is survived by his siblings; Carmen Cruz, Olga Ruiz, Eriberto Cisneros (Martha) and Romelia Astorga along with his many dear nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Enrique, his mother Carmen Yepiz and his brothers Henry and Fernando.

He was born in Tintown (Bisbee), Arizona and was the 2nd oldest out of 7 children.  He joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17 and served with Honors. His tour of duty included China, Japan and Hawaii during World War II.

Tony worked 36 years as the Pima County plumbing shop supervisor until his retirement.  His weekends were spent working and sharing his many talents whenever someone called.  He lived and worked hard for his family and never skipped their annual family vacation.

As the family grew, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren became his greatest joy.  His favorite vacation spot in his older years was Las Vegas and nothing beat Las Vegas when the whole family joined him…down to his great-grandchildren.

Tony was a good man, wonderful husband, father and grandfather.  He was loved because his love of God and life made him the kindest, most unselfish man we'd ever known.
