Andy H
Rico
February 4, 1939 – April 9, 2026
In Loving Memory of Andy Rico
Andy Rico, a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, at the age of 87.
Born on February 4, 1939, Andy lived a life defined by hard work and a deep love for the simple pleasures of the outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, he was never happier than when he was out hunting or setting up camp under the stars. When he wasn’t in the woods, he was often found working; a skilled carpenter, he had a gift for building cabinets that lasted—a trait that mirrored the way he raised his family. Above all, Andy filled his home with music; he loved to sing and play his guitar, creating memories that his family will carry forever.
Andy is now reunited with his beloved wife, Cecilia, whom he was married to for nearly 50 years. Together, they built a vibrant legacy that continues through their six children: his three daughters, Teresa, Sheila, and Sandra, and his three sons, Andy Jr., Anthony, and Frankie.
His influence stretches across generations, leaving behind 16 grandchildren whom he dearly loved and numerous great-grandchildren. They will all forever cherish the stories told during family gatherings, the songs he played, and the hand-built treasures he left behind.
Services to celebrate Andy’s life will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026. Visitation will take place from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Carrillo’s Mortuary, followed by a Church Mass at 10:00 AM at Saint Margaret’s. Burial will follow at 11:30 AM at Holy Hope Cemetery.
Following the burial, the family invites you to join them for a reception to continue celebrating Andy’s life at Saint Margaret’s Hall.
Lord, grant him eternal rest, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
