Andrea Leigh Kilgore-Lopez passed away suddenly on May 21st, 2022, with her beloved daughter Audrey by her side. Born on April 6th, 1970, in Ajo, Arizona, to Dennis and Olivia Kilgore, Andrea grew up in Ajo with her twin sister Allison and older brother Dennis. Studious, intelligent, and passionate, Andrea graduated with honors from Ajo High School in 1988 with a scholarship to attend college. With the birth of her daughter, Audrey Louise Lopez, Andrea left college to pursue her dream of becoming a fiercely loving and devoted mother to her only child. Audrey described Andrea as a book of poetry, which is befitting because of her unconditional love and unbreakable bond with her daughter. Andrea was known as a gifted storyteller filling Audrey's childhood with magic, wonder, and curiosity. Andrea imbued Audrey's life with love as a consistent source of wisdom and encouragement. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill, but Andrea's love for her daughter will never waver in this lifetime or the next.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Olivia Kilgore. She is survived by her daughter Audrey Lopez, her brother Dennis Kilgore (Lorraine), her twin sister Allison Owczarek (David), and loving nephews and niece, Andruw Kilgore, Owen Owczarek, and Sydney Kilgore. The family will be holding a private mass and gathering for immediate family and close friends.
