Alfonso Macias, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on May 29, 1935, in Turkey Shoot Canyon, Miami, Arizona, Alfonso lived a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished memories.

He married the love of his life, Olivia Moreno Macias, on September 16, 1956. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home for their five children: Michael Macias (Darlene), Patricia Jimenez (Robert), Julia Mandros (Andrew), Barbara Macias, and Lori Ramirez (Carlos). Alfonso's devotion to his family was evident in everything he did, from his successful career as a home builder and entrepreneur to the joy he found in sports, particularly golf.

Alfonso is survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who will carry his legacy forward. He will be remembered for his kindness, radiant smile, wisdom, and unwavering support of family and friends. His gentle spirit touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held at Carrillo Mortuary Chapel on October 19, 2024, beginning at 9:30 a.m., with a reception to follow at the Church of the Painted Hills, 3295 W. Speedway Boulevard, 85745.  All are welcome to join in celebrating the extraordinary life of this remarkable man.
