Mr. Alan H. Carrillo Sr. was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico in August of 1973. He was raised in Tucson, Arizona and Southern California. He attended school at Pueblo High School in Tucson where he played baseball, football, and wrestled. After graduation in 1991 he joined the United States Marine Corps. In 1993 he and his love Veronica were married and began their family.

He joined the Transportation Security Administration in 2002 where he served as a Screener and a Training Specialist.  He was hired by the United Stated Border Patrol as a Mission Support Specialist and served at both the Tucson Sector Headquarters and the Nogales Border Patrol Station.  His last position was with the Professional Standards Section where he served as a Management Programs Analyst.

Mr. Alan H. Carrillo went on to be with his Lord in December, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his father,German H. Carrillo. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Veronica Carrillo; sons Alan A. Carrillo Jr (Natasha) and Ismael Carrillo (Nadia), and beautiful grandchildren Uriah I. and Gia E. Carrillo,mother, Elvira Carrillo; sisters Marcia Ortiz, Diana Robles along with many nieces and nephews all of Tucson, Arizona. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Kona, Bear, Mattie, and Zoey.

On behalf of his family, we would like to thank you all for your love, prayers and support during this difficult time. The family expresses that they will miss his humor, laughter, and his witted straightforward remarks, as well as his advice and knowledge that he loved to share with everyone, especially with his sons. He left them precious memories that they will cherish forever.

Funeral Services will be held for Alan H. Carrillo Sr. at the Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1220 S. 6th Ave, Tucson, Arizona 85713 on January 6th, 2023, The Rosary Prayer Service will occur at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m., Reverand Fr. Marcos Velasquez, Officiating.
