IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Adelaida B
Lovio
November 26, 1929 – March 30, 2023
Adelaida B. Lovio, 93, passed away March 30, 2023, at home in Tucson.
Adelaida was born in Pirtleville, AZ, Nov. 26, 1929.
She worked for the San Manuel School District for over 25 years and for multiple residents in the San Manuel area for many years. She loved to dance and listen to Mariachi music, and she also loved country music.
She was always busy cooking, cleaning, ironing, and washing clothes, even in her last years with us. She also loved babysitting her grandkids and neighbor's kids. She always needed to stay busy, that was just her.
She married her long-time love Joaquin Lovio in December of 1957 and they moved to San Manuel. They shared their lives together for over 42 years before his passing. They raised four children, and she was blessed with seven grandchildren, which she loved beyond words.
She is survived by daughter, Rosa A. Lovio; sons, Jack (Lillian); Robert; and Manny (Debbie) Lovio; as well as her last surviving sibling, sister, Consuelo Galaz; and seven grandchildren.
We were blessed to have her for so many years and we will always have many fond memories of our mom, nana, suegra and sister.
