Tucson native and lifelong resident Stanley, passed away on February 13, 2015. He was 77 years old. A true renaissance man, Krzyzanowski was an Interior Plantscape Designer and business owner who was also a longtime patron of the arts, serving on the Pima Arts Council, as President of Ballet Tucson and co-owner of a downtown art gallery. Krzyzanowski was a self-taught paleontologist who discovered a bone bed in northern Arizona and was honored for his contributions to the fossil record by having a dinosaur named after him-the Krzyzanowskisaurus hunti. He is survived by his son, Stephen daughter, Karen Kowal granddaughters, Kasia Krzyzanowski and Sarah and Katie Kowal.
