John Tellez, beloved husband, father, and grandfather; born March 31, 1946, passed away on July 1, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Natalia. John was born in Tucson and attended El Rio now Manzo Elementary, Spring Jr. High, and Tucson High School. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Children, Tanna, Tracy, John Tellez; and step-son, Chris Kohler grandchildren, Paul and Savana Montano, Haley and Tatum Sutliff siblings, Cecilia, Joaquin, Ronald and Sylvia John retired from the Tucson Fire Department. He served in the Army National Guard; also worked for Asarco Mine; dance instructor for Town & Country Dance Studios; worked briefly for Fossie's Model Agency; Assoc. for the Study of Animals (ASAB) at the University summer program. John loved his family, friends and animals; laughing, dancing and westerns. He enjoyed taking care of his horses, Chata and Lollipop, tending to his trees, hunting and the outdoors.
