Dorothy H.
Mortimer
March 4, 1926 – January 24, 2016
Our loving mother and grandmother and aunt, Dorothy H. Mortimer, age 89, passed away peacefully on January 24 th in Tucson, Arizona. She was born March 4, 1926 in Clinton, Massachusetts to Fred and Esther Heinold, the oldest of 4 daughters.
Dorothy was a strong willed lady who took pride in her family and all that she did. She remained true to her name, a gift of God, a vision. Her beauty emanated inside and out. Dorothy will be remembered as a caring mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her kindness, laughter and generous spirit were truly a blessing in our lives. It gives us great comfort to know that she is at peace and reunited with her late husband as she missed him dearly. She will be deeply missed but the memories we have will be forever cherished and held in our hearts.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph Mortimer, Sr., sister Norma, and great granddaughter Angel.
She is survived by her sons, George Mortimer (Catherine Crandall) and Joseph Mortimer (Margarita);

one grandson, Steven Mortimer;
four great grandchildren; Richard Silva, Anthony Silva, Jacob Vasquez and John Clay.
Also survived by sisters Betty Dedecko (late Francis), Shirley Stockton (Jim), brother-in-law Skip Rauscher (late Norma) and many nieces and nephews.
