Joni Alexander

passed away July 16, 2016 in Tucson, AZ after a long illness. She was born in Green Bay, WI on April 23, 1947.

She is survived by her son, Matthew; daughter-in-law, Jaquetta; grandchildren, Ashley, Abbey, and Aidan; sister, Sharon; brother, Ric; and many nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly. She will be remembered by her numerous friends.

She worked for many years in Tucson and Denver for Mountain Bell, AT&T, and eventually retired from the company when it became Qwest.

She was a doting Grandmother and loved to be called "Gram". She loved to sail, scuba dive, and even started to ski while living in Denver. She also loved to shop, garden, was an avid reader, and was curious about everything. Joni was a unique character who would stop and talk to anyone she met in her various adventures. She was always ready to give anyone advice who would care to take it. She will be missed by everyone who's life she touched.
