Gloria Quiroz Pena, 83, of Tucson, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 4, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona.

Gloria was born in Tucson, to Ignacio Gamez and Maria Loustanau Gamez on November 5, 1934. Gloria is preceded in death by her beloved husband Mario G Quiroz, parents, Ignacio and Maria Gamez, her sisters Rose Gamez, Armida Angel, Virgina Nunez, and her Grandson Steven Saucedo.

She is survived by her sister Carmen Garcia, her brother Herman Gamez, her 7 children, Mario Quiroz, Gloria (Carlos) Vargas, Arnold Quiroz, Espi (Alex) Saucedo, Armida (Ron) Contreras, Andy (Jay) Quiroz, and Sandra (Larry) Clingensmith, 21 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

She was a devoted Catholic who enjoyed attending church, spending time with her family, and loved to sew and make crafts.

We want to give a special thanks to our brother Arnold Quiroz who dearly cared for our mother for the past 3 1/2 yrs. Our niece Robbyn Vargas who helped us with lots of medical advice and lots of loving care for her grandmother. For our cousin Cruz Duran who help us with so much on what to expect and how to help our mom. Thank you so much, we love you all from the bottom of our hearts!
